I grew up between London and Provence and have chosen to settle permanently in Provence, close to Vaison-la-Romaine. I know the area intimately through my work, and my love of cycling and hiking.
Living here in French, rather than visiting in English, is what makes the difference to an absent owner. I know how a French artisan prefers to be approached, how long a local quote takes to arrive, and when to push and when to wait. I know which pool technicians answer their telephones in August and which do not.
What I offer is simply the presence you would have if you were here: someone who notices the small things before they become expensive, who is standing in the room when the work is done, and who tells you the truth about what your house needs.
